too jazzy?
Ladies and gentlemen, may I extend my warmest and most heart-wrenching welcomings to you. The humans call me Julie and I do art and that. My posts should give a more accurate sense of me than anything I can summarise here, other than to make clear that I am partial to both world peace AND long walks on the beach. If you're feeling bold, you may wish to sneak a glance at my videos, or other tumblrs. Be seeing you!

I just want to hug it. Does anyone know what kind of dog this is?

It’s a Chusky (Chow Chow + Husky).

im fucking crying

that doesn’t sound like the best combination of breed temperaments i’ve ever heard of

Maybe you could make something like it with a malamute instead of a husky? They’re supposed to be friendlier towards people.

I think malamutes have a pretty dominant personality. That with the hyper husky would be one super tough puppy to train and would need years of dog training experience. But the little guy would be too stinking adorable to kill when you come home to a destroyed house and simultaneously gets pushed aside as the alpha dog takes over your bed. Because they’re huge. Like shit, he could crush me just by sitting on me, huge.

This looks like a magical cartoon creature

Learnt an interesting thing today on this arabic course,
The original Arabic number system looked like this, the one we now use.
It was designed so each character had the corresponding number of angles to the number, so the number 1 has 1 angle, 2 has 2 angles, 3 has 3, 0 has none etc…
It is so obvious now, I’ve always assumed its one of those things that just is, with no logical explanation, but here it is, perfectly simple and satisfying

My jaw is legit on the floor right about now :D

cyanometer, c. 1789, an instrument that measures the blueness of a sky”

source of info
Cyanometer. The simple device was invented in 1789 by Swiss physicist Horace-Bénédict de Saussure and German naturalist Alexander von Humboldt who used the circular array of 53 shaded sections in experiments above the skies over Geneva, Chamonix and Mont Blanc. The Cyanometer helped lead to a successful conclusion that the blueness of the sky is a measure of transparency caused by the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. You can learn more at theRoyal Society of Chemistry.
